| Guru Shikhar is the highest peak on the mount located at a distance of 15 km from Mount Abu. The altitude of the Guru Shikhar is about 1722 m above the sea level. An amazing paromonic of Mt. Abu can be viewed from the peak. Other attractions of the peak include a small shrine and a temple of Dattatreya. |

| Mount Abu Wildlife Sanctuary |
| Mount Abu Wildlife sanctuary declared as a Wildlife Sanctuary in 1960. The wild park is comprises of Aravalli, the oldest mountain range and has numerous places for sightseeing. The floral biodiversity of the sanctuary is quite rich starting with xenomorphic subtropical thorn forest at the foothills to subtropical evergreen forest along watercourses and valleys at higher altitudes. 112 plant families with 449 genera and 820 species fill up the sanctuary. Some of the 3 species of wild roses and 16 species of feras seen here are quite rare. In the southwest area, the sanctuary abounds in bamboo forests. Presently the leopard is the apex predator. Other animals found here are sambhar, jungle cat, small Indian civet, wolf, hyaena, jackal, Indian fox, common langoor, wild boar, pangolin, common mongoose, Indian hare, porcupine and hedgehog. The sanctuary provides an ideal habitat for the sloth bear too. It is unique in the sense that more than 250 species of birds are found here. |

| Nakki Lake |

| An important place of tourist interest in Mount Abu is Nakki Lake "Heart of Mount Abu". The famous mythological story that lies behind the creation of this lake has give the name to the lake as Nakki Lake. It is said that using their nails or nakh Devtas or Gods had dug this lake in the center of Mount Abu. Situated at an altitude of 1220 meters above sea level this lake is the only artificial lake in India. Within walking distance from the center of the town the Lake is situated. The location of Nakki Lake amidst the mountains, gardens and rock formations makes it all the more interesting. |

| Trevor's Tank |
| Trevor's Tank: 5 km from Mount Abu a tank, Trevor's tank is situated named after the British engineer who constructed it. The pigeons, peacocks and partridges easily seen by the birdwatchers in the densely wooded hills are the prime attraction of the tank. |
