| Mansa Devi Temple at the top of Bilwa Parwat, the temple of Goddess Mansa Devi, who fulfills desires (Mansa). The main temple houses two idols of the Goddess, one with three mouths and five arms, while the other one has eight arms. | Maya Devi Temple |
| Ancient temple of Maya Devi dating back 11th century. The deity of Goddess Maya Devi is worshipped with great honor. This shrine is also the Adhisthatri deity of Haridwar. Maya Devi Temple, one of the Shaktipithas in India, is an ancient shrine. And it is believed that the heart and naval of Goddess Sati (the wife of Lord Shiva), who had burnt her self to keep the honour of her husband, fell in this place. It is one of few ancient temples still standing in Haridwar, along with Narayani Shila temple and Bhairav Temple. Maya Devi Temple holds various festivals and fairs. |

| Sapt Rishi Ashram & Sapt Sarovar |
| A holy place situated in Haridwar and a picturesque place, where seven great sages or Saptarishis, namely Kashyapa, Vashisht, Atri, Vishwamitra, Jamadagni, Bharadwaja and Gautam, said to have meditated. And Sapt Rishi Ashram, also known as Sapt Sarovar. Ganges River flows as seven streams in front of the ashram, so that the Rishis would not be disturbed by the flow. |

| Sati Kund |
| Sati Kund, another well-known mythological heritage worth a visit is situated in the Kankhal. Legend has it that Sati immolated herself in this kund. The King Daksh Prajapati, father of Sati (Lord Shiva's first wife) performed yagya at this place, but didn't invite Lord Shiva (Mahadev). Feeling insulted, Sati burnt herself in the yagya kund. Provoked by this, the ganas (followers) of Lord Shiva killed King Daksha. Later, Lord Shiva brought him back to life. |
