| Chandi Devi Temple |
| Chandi, sitting on the top the 'Neel Parvat' on the eastern bank of river Ganga is the temple dedicated. The king of Kashmir, Suchat Singh constructed Chandi Devi Temple in 1929 A.D. Chanda-Munda, the Army Chief of a local Demon Kings Shumbh and Nishumbha were killed by goddess Chandi here, after which the place got the name Chandi Devi mentioned in the Skanda Purana. The main statue was established by the Adi Shankracharya in 8th century A.D is the belief. From Chandighat the temple is a 3 km trek. |

| Daksha Mahadev Temple |
| In the south Kankhal town the ancient temple of Daksha Mahadev is situated. According to mythology, father of Dakshayani (Sati), Lord Shiva's first wife, King Daksha Prajapati, performed a yagna. He deliberately did not invite Lord Shiva. Lord shiva was further insulted by the king, when he arrived uninvited. Sati felt infuriated and self-immolated herself in the yagna kund seeing her husband's insult. |
