Bhattiprolu
Maha stupam located in gutur dist is Bhattiprolu maha stupa. Bhattiprolu was previously named as Pratipalapura, a flourishing Buddhist town in the ancient Sala kingdom that predated Andhra Satavahanas. Bhattiprolu is most known for its stupa, the Chinna Lanja dibba and Vikramarka kota dibba. The stupa was vandalised during the 18th Century and during the first excavation a proof of existence of the Republican Kingdom of Kubera Raja was found from the inscription. The stupa was constructed in wheel shape like the one found at Ghantasala in Krishna district.
Cheborle
Cheborle was a historical site where lot of inscriptions and coinage were found in India, is a town and a Mandal in Guntur district Cheborle is renowned for a temple called Brahmalingeshwara Temple. The place also has a Nageshwara temple where a huge Nandi is seen outside the temple compound. Is the place where terracota figurines, two coins and lot of inscriptions of Cholas like Velanadu Chodas related to Constantine Empire were found. Chalukya Cholas settled here. Satyasraya of Eastern Chalukyas sent an army by his general Baya Nambi to seize of the areas of Chalukya Cholas. The general entered Vengi from the south, reduced the forts of Dharanikota and Yanamadala to ashes and established himself at Chebrolu. Chebrole is located in historical Velanadu region, about 15 km from Guntur.
Ethipothala waterfalls
Nestling amid lush green surroundings, Ethipothala waterfalls is a mountain stream cascading down the hills from a height of 22 meters the Ethipothala waterfalls are a radiant sight of the power and beauty of nature. This Waterfalls is among the rising tourist attractions in Andhra Pradesh. it was not very famous among outside people till recently. But now it is frequently visited by foreigners. is close to many Buddhist sites which attracts more people to this region.
Ethipothala also boasts of a crocodile breeding centre where you can get a fascinating glimpse of these reptiles from close quarters and observe their behavior in their natural habitat. The picture postcard beauty of the place with verdant valleys together with numerous cave temples that dot the hilly countryside have made this a favourite picnic spot.
Kondaveedu Fort
Kondaveedu Fort is to be found at a distance of 25 km from Guntur. Kondaveedu fort was built by Anapotha Reddy in the 1250 A.D and later developed by Ana Venkata Reddy. Both of them were prominent rulers of the Reddy dynasty known to be benevolent patrons of the art and culture. Later, the fort considered as impregnable with 24 bastions and spread across 30 hillocks was ruled by Gajapathis.
Nagarjunasagar Srisailam Sanctuary
In catchments area of the Krishna River the largest of India's Tiger Reserves, the Nagarjunasagar Srisailam Sanctuary ( 3568 sq. km.) is located This wildlife park is spread of five districts of Andhra Pradesh, India. These areas include the Kurnool, Guntur, Prakasam, Mahboobnagar and Nalgonda in the state of Andhra Pradesh. This huge wildlife sanctuary is surrounded by the Nallamalai Hills on the south and is flanked by the River Krishna on the East.

The Nagarjunasagar-Srisailam Sanctuary was notified in 1978 and declared a Tiger Reserve in 1983. The Reserve was renamed as Rajiv Gandhi Wildlife Sanctuary in 1992.
